and how we came to be.
In 1998, Mike Lombardi recognized an opportunity and assembled a small team of 6 to service the hospitality industry on various projects.
In 1999, just one year later, Mike received his general contracting license and rebranded the business as Lombardi Contracting Corporation. That same year, he and his team completed their first major hotel project for the prestigious Hilton in Torrey Pines.
Ever since, Lombardi Contracting has continued to expand their footprint outside of California to other parts of the western United States. They’ve also continued to expand by adding more high-end clients to their roster.

Mike Lombardi
FOUNDER + PRESIDENT
Before starting Lombardi Contracting, Mike was a Director of engineering for 14 years for Hyatt Hotels. His deep experience in the hospitality industry served him well when he began Lombardi Contracting Corporation in 1998. Mike believes that the Lombardi team has been the key to success, through experience and more importantly, the relationships and trust LCC has fostered along the way.

Tod Fontana
VP BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Tod has been with Lombardi Contracting since 2007, managing high-profile projects as VP of Business Development. Tod is a licensed architect with more than 20 years of experience in architecture, construction, and project management.

Alex Fernandez
VP OPERATIONS
Alex holds nearly 40 years in the hospitality and construction industries. Her wide experience and breadth of knowledge in the industry has made her an invaluable part of the LCC team. She believes that the success of LCC is largely due to the relationships that it maintains, and has nurtured for many years.

Jonelle Nuñez
GENERAL MANAGER
Our General Manager, Jonelle, began her tenure at LCC as a receptionist. Over the past 20 years, she has learned the in’s and out’s of the business and serves as a crucial part of the team. She believes that a key pillar of LCC’s success is its ability to adapt to any project’s needs.

Brian Aldous
VP, CONSTRUCTION
Brian began his career with Lombardi Contracting in 1999 as an installer and has since has taken on countless projects across many verticals. With years of hands-on field experience, coupled with his astute estimating skills, Brian is a leader on many aspects of our major projects.

Cori Lombardi
DIRECTOR, DESIGN & PURCHASING
Starting in 1998, Cori led the accounting department after working at a fortune 500 company. Cori has worn many hats over the years, but has always had an eye for design. She now serves as head of design and special projects for LCC.
