Bill Irvine, Vice President - Construction
Bill has more than twenty-five years of hands-on construction experience. He spent eight years in commercial construction as a journeyman carpenter. For the past eighteen years he has been involved in all phases of major hotel construction and renovation. Most recently, Bill has acted in the capacity of Project Manager in renovations such as the Marriott San Diego?s North and South towers, the Hyatt Regency San Diego and the La Jolla Beach and Tennis Club. Bill's carpentry skills have come in handy at home as well with room additions for his young son, Cole and daughter, Carly.
Alex Fernandez, Vice President - Operations
Alex joined Lombardi Contracting in 1999 as the Office Manager. After serving as the Director of Operations for five years, she is now the Vice President of Operations. She brings with her over 15 years of hospitality management and customer service. Alex has a strong understanding of our customer needs and works side by side with the President and Vice President of Construction in their responsibilities of the overall business operations. Outside of work, her passions include sports with her two sons, Arden and Declan and catering exciting cuisine for her family and friends.
Michael Stange, Directory of Project Management
Michael brings more than 20 years of management experience to the Lombardi Contracting team, ranging from hospitality to construction to technology. Educated in mathematics and computer science at the University of California, San Diego, Michael came to Lombardi Contracting in 2002 after working as a technical lead on special projects for a nationwide financial institution. After serving as a Project Coordinator and Project Engineer, he now heads up our project management division. He is an avid athlete and has added long distance running to his recreational and competitive sports résumé. You're likely to hear him talking about his seemingly continuous marathon training. stange@lombardicontracting.com
Tod Fontana, Director of Project Development
Tod is a licensed Architect in the State of California with a Bachelors degree in Architecture from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. He has more than twenty years of experience in Architecture, Construction, and Project Management in residential, commercial, and public work projects. Fontana started with Lombardi Contracting in April of 2007 after managing projects, purchasing, and architecture for the largest private builder in the United States for over seven years. He now heads up the Project Development Team for LCC. In his spare time, Fontana coaches his daughters travel softball team, and when time allows, loves a good game of golf.
Cori Lombardi, Director of Finance
Cori holds a bachelors degree in business and spent four years in commercial sales and marketing for several major firms including a fortune 500 company. She began her accounting career in 1994 as an accounting administrator and has since applied her experience to a range of duties including the reconciliation of the general ledger, creation and review of company budgets and the compilation of all tax returns. Cori is very active in the community and she and her husband Michael have two wonderful sons, Tyler and Garrett
